About The Author

Steve Flint has read hundreds of books and authored ``Everyday Cooking`` (if you consider it a book). He worked tirelessly for over 40 years and, like many of us, retired with less money than he'd hoped for but retained some sanity.

Now residing near Phoenix, Arizona, Steve lives with his wife Juliet and their three dogs, Jake, Elwood, and Willie (that's 16 legs in total). He spends his days doing what he loves: reading, listening to music, tinkering with computers and other geeky things, visiting friends, sipping bourbon while contemplating pure thoughts, writing, and cooking.

Steve shares W.C. Fields' sentiments about children (best left unmentioned), finds C.S. Lewis' views on Christianity challenging yet compelling, agrees with Billy Lathey on most Texas music (especially Ray Wylie), aligns with Winston Churchill on learning (it's fun, but being taught isn't), and sides with Billy B. on everything else.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Elmhurst College and a Master's Degree from Trinity International University back when these achievements were hard-earned, much like winning over the pretty girl behind the cosmetics counter.
